A unique reef located at the foot of the Akassia Swiss Resort is a drop of more than 50 meters deep, which is not common in the Marsa Alam area.
It is covered with hard coral and soft coral, and a small cave is in the 30-meter area. You will find the reef fauna, and more remember to look in the blue because you will regularly see eagle rays, turtles, napoleons, trevally, barracudas and occasionally a whale shark.
In addition, the hotel being very large, there are two pontoons: one north of the beach and one to the south. You can therefore dive around each pontoon, or make drift dives between the two pontoons which are 400 meters apart.
Finally, important thing, you can dive with us all year round. If the weather conditions do not allow diving on the wall, we offer a free transfer for our divers to Maheleg (our alternative house reef) 1 km further south. Maheleg Bay is also equipped with a jetty from which you can dive to north and south. On the return of the north Diving, take time on the beautiful sand plateau which is located at the corner of the bay at 12 meters to look for octopus, stone fish and observe the old pottery.
Snorkeling: You can snorkel on the "house reef", the reef that is located on the edge of the hotel's beach. In addition, we organize excursions to exceptional snorkeling sites where you will meet turtles and maybe even dolphins.
